JOIE, CALME and CONFIANCE are the first 3 Antidotes I created (summer 2019) during my 1st course of chemotherapy. I developed them intuitively. They enabled me to face the illness with a little more lightness and gentleness.
But I would never have been able to fight cancer if I hadn't been so well supported by the medical team at the Institut de Cancérologie du Gard in Nîmes (1 hour drive from home).
My superheroes... My very own Marvel team: First of all, my surgeon, my Rockstar, my idol, Dr Anne Margarot and my oncologist, Dr Éric Legouffe (calmness incarnate; I needed that to balance out my nervous tension levels during consultations), but also the team of nurses in the chemotherapy department (bright and always cheerful) and my radiotherapy oncologist, the super (and super handsome!) Dr Francois Picot and the kind manipulators in the radiotherapy department.
Breast cancer is still a killer, with 32 women dying from it every day in France. They all thought they'd make it, they all fought, and they all loved life as much as you do, as much as we do.
My doctors' antidotes (for those who are picky: 4 EC90s, 16 Taxols, 1 quadrantectomy, 33 radiotherapy sessions, 18 Herceptin injections) saved my life. Now it's my turn to make a (modest) contribution so that my antidotes can save the lives of other people affected by cancer.
On 20 April 2020, I am very proud to have signed a sponsorship agreement with the Gustave Roussy Institute for Scientific Research into Cancer (Europe's leading research centre), to which I donate 5% of sales from the Les Antidotes - the mood boosting collection - every month.
