BALTHAZAR, the candle of Les Baux de Provence
Legend has it that after the birth of the infant Jesus, the Magi King Balthazar followed the star from Bethlehem to Les Baux de Provence, where he settled and founded the town. Since then, the nativity star has become the emblem of Baux de Provence.
Top notes: tobacco leaves, honey
Heart notes: cinnamon, orange, sandalwood
Base notes: amber, patchouli
A masculine, festive scent.
Our candles are hand-poured in Maussane les Alpilles, at the foot of Les Baux de Provence.
Our 100g, 150g, 160g and 220g candles are sold in boxes.

- Perfumes developed by a perfume house in Grasse. Guaranteed phthalate and CMR free
- Untreated, lead-free, unbleached cotton wicks
- Vegan, not tested on animals
- 0% paraffin, for a clean flame without toxic soot
- Amber glass (400g): more than 60 hours
- Matt black glass (220g): approximately 40 hours
- Matt white glass (160g): approximately 32 hours
- Amber glass (150g): approximately 30 hours
- Amber glass (100g): approximately 20 hour
- The first time you light your candle, we advise you to let it burn for at least 1 hour to allow the melted wax to reach the edges of the container and to prevent it from hollowing out later.
- Make sure the wick never exceeds 0.5 cm before each use. Do not hesitate to cut it using a wick cutter if necessary.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Make sure the surface the candle is placed on is stable and heat resistant.
- Keep burning candles away from drafts and any flammable objects
- Do not leave a candle burning for more than 3 hours at a time.
- For safety, stop burning a candle when there is less than one centimeter of wax left in the container.
